DESCRIPTION:For over 35 years\, Shalom Park has proudly offered the New Kids on the Water program\, providing children ages 5-14 with the opportunity to learn water skiing in a safe\, fun\, and controlled environment. Designed for beginners and intermediate skiers\, this program has introduced over 1\,500 kids to the thrill of water sports\, helping them build confidence\, skill\, and a love for the sport. \nChildren will receive dry land instruction before getting on the water\, and then learn to ski using the boom on the boat\, with both a driver and a coach providing guidance. Our program has historically boasted a 98% success rate\, ensuring that most kids experience success on their first day! After a fun-filled day of skiing\, kids will enjoy a simple hot dog lunch to refuel and continue the excitement. \nWe’re proud to continue this tradition\, offering expert coaching and support for young skiers of all abilities.
